I can confirm this issue still exist on Lucid. This bug affects 11 people. It looks like it’s displaying an incorrect pixel every time there’s a write to video RAM. We also performed some Synthetic benchmarks, the Opstone Benchmarks, a simple yet highly optimized mathematical-based set of benchmarks. Jun 25, Posts:

The board power consumption power levels are rather close to the VIA C7 implementations, which are well known for low power consumptions. I am seeing the same problems in Lucid. Mon May 05, 9: Oct 14, Posts: There are 10 tests in the BYTEmark test suite.

Before, I was able to use a binary driver which someone built for Hardy. Hardy Heron was my last version that I could compile. Although the fan controller onboard is very good IMO Needs 3 pin fans IIRCthe only time all of the fans ramped up and you can hear them was on c201gly2 before the fan controller kicked in. We’ll next turn linus attention to another number-crunching activity. Nice to hear you from the bugzilla. This is really sad, because it’s not that nobody was unfortunate to buy something with such a crappy SiS chipset Ars Praefectus et Subscriptor.

Once I stick a fan in it I guess I might aswell use a normal harddrive, they cost nothing anyway. If you are not the original reporter, please file a new bug report, so we can work with you as the original reporter instead you can reference bug in your report if you think it may be related:.
From the single benchmark I’ve seen, the Atom would be half as fast as the mhz Celeron. The graphs represent current consumption, so you must multiply it by 12 in order to get the total power consumption. First you have to change to command line alt-crtl-F1log in and open the xorg.
Which sucks as that is precisely what I planned on doing. For more information please see the picoPSU webpage. Tue May 06, 9:
