ASUS K53E WIRELESS NETWORK ADAPTER DRIVER
When turn on my computer for the first time, or wake it up from sleep, the WiFi built in doesn’t work, it can’t connect to any networks. It seems like the wifi is disabled by some kind of hardware switch. I have the correct drivers i think first i tried with hp drivers , then i updated BIOS, unistalled the drivers and windows installed itself new drivers the wireless is a INTEL card i think. And when I plug in an ethernet cable, the web page loads in an instant. It can not be accessed from any point much further than about 50 feet. Write the key you create on a sticker and put it on the router or modem.
All of my drivers for my network adapters are updated. I didn’t have trouble with the WiFi for a few months, but then it started acting up.

I have the same question 0. Ok now that the password is stored, I log out of safe mode, reboot thinking the int Atheros module is bad, and problem solved. It will start working fine. Problem remains, and the wifi message is “Wi-Fi is disabled by hardware switch”.
Wifi is still disabled. It has a wireless network interface, but since I reinstalled, I cannot get it to load the driver. Back to Computer Help forum 11 total posts. Please afapter “what laptop should I buy?

Not near a wall or other electronic device. All the other wireless devices wideless without probelms, but this ASUS laptop, loads the pages so slow [on wireless].

Wireless n devices both router and the radio in your computer are much better capable of handling this interference. It should be high in a room not down low to the floor where it can pick up more interference.
